Can you find happiness in solitude? Mira Jargil is known for her artistic and high-end cinematic films. Her films are often character-driven, socially relevant and debate generating documentaries. Mira has won several awards for all of her films, latest the prestigious Bodil award for best documentary of the year, for the touching REUNITED about a Syrian doctor becoming separated from her two children during their attempt to escape war. Mira Jargil graduated from The National Film School of Denmark in 2011.
Christian Sønderby Jepsen graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2007. He’s a director, producer and owner of the renowned Danish production company, Moving Documentary. He’s been an executive producer on international feature documentaries such as REUNITED and NATURAL DISORDER, which premiered in the main competition at IDFA. He has also directed multiple feature length documentaries, among them THE WILL. Christian has won more than 15 international awards for his film throughout his career.
